17 year-old Kelly Winslow doesn’t believe in Faeries. I love it.
There are many twists and turns and sub plots and some mysteries you don't find answers to, even after the sequel. Lesley incorporated the modern world with classic fae we all know from Shakespeare. In a way, it was like The Iron King, but beyond the faerie and the myths, they're totally different stories.
Sonny is adorable and I kind of love him. He had the perfect balance of bad ass and sweet. He was kind of sort of perfection, without being a Gary Stu.
I don't know how to go into further detail without any spoilers for anything. But I really loved this book and I'm happy to know there's only one more left in the series coming later this year!
